Itinerary

 Day 1: Pick up your rental car from the airport. After a brief introduction to the car functionalities, drive along scenic beaches to your hotel.

 

 Day 2 to Day 5: From leisurely walks to swashbuckling adventure rides, from serene nature retreats to hip parties, Mauritius has a multitude of options to choose from. With your car at your disposal, plan your day as you like! To help you along, here are few great places you ought to check out!  

  • Spend a day at the Casela Nature Park which is located along the west coast of Mauritius. Walk with the tame lions or enjoy a thrilling mini quad-bike tour, the opportunities here are endless! 
  • Take a day to explore south-western Mauritius, visiting the Chamarel Village where the geological curiosity of the seven-hued sands resides. Witness the majesty of the Chamarel Falls, the tallest waterfalls here. Trek through the Black River Gorges National Park which houses some of the island’s rarest endemic trees and creatures. Pay obeisance to the towering 33 meter statue of Lord Shiva, which is the tallest statue in Mauritius at the Grand Bassin. 
  • Don’t miss the exotic beauty of the Pampelmousses Botanical Garden, one of the oldest botanical gardens in Asia. Renowned for its gargantuan water lilies, it also boasts of a unique collection of 85 varieties of palms from all around the Indian Ocean and a spice garden!
